Tope Egoh is an educationalist and entrepreneur; her area of specialization is advancing the lives of children and their families through excellent quality education. Tope is passionate about equal learning opportunities for all children with a focus on the vulnerable and disadvantaged children within society. She with her team are adept at monitoring and tracking the development of children, prompting quick intervention to ensure that children’s unique developmental needs are met.
As a social change agent, Tope’s vision is to positively impact generations through education. She continuously promotes female education to provide girls and women with access to better opportunities and mitigate gender inequality. Additionally, Tope advocates the delivery of excellent quality early years’ education, safeguarding in education, and best practices within the classroom. This is fostered by training and equipping teachers with 21st-century education skills needed to meet the educational demands of our rapidly changing world. She has partnered with esteemed international educational brands, to provide an e-learning platform for training and re-skilling teachers and schools internationally.
She is the founder of Holden Park Schools, a group of schools in the UK and Nigeria. The philosophy behind Holden Park Schools is to provide a holistic learning experience that caters to the healthy development of children’s minds, bodies, and souls. She is experienced in running early years’ schools and is famous for successfully owning and running a school in a predominantly white area in the UK, one of the very few blacks to do so.
Before venturing into business, Tope’s career had been in the financial services sector including a management position with Weblink International Company and as an officer in Diamond Bank. She graduated in Sociology from the University of Lagos, earned an MA in education from the University College London, and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. Presently pursuing her Doctorate in Education from Walden University, Tope’s interest includes environmental sustainability, children’s rights, women empowerment, holism, and educational research. Top on her bucket list is travelling around Africa which she is yet to start and eating the tastiest crab which apparently is in Singapore.
